All credit goes to George 'Da Raikage' for the idea:
I have now activated a modulus that allows users to like or dislike posts. It will reflect on the value of reputation on those who post. An example:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
** Where there are the green and red bars were once a '+' or '-' sign. Obviously + is upvoting and - is downvoting. This is our way of saying "Thanks!" or "Boo you stink" to a user for their posts.
Enjoy!
PS. Sorry Fille, I'll work on a way to reset your reputation lol.
EDIT: There is no way to reset reputation on one individual. So instead I liked Fille's first post ever on the forums. Yay~
DOUBLE EDIT: People will not get notified if someone liked or disliked their post. It's all anonymous.

Re: Reputation
1. I helped give him the idea </3
2. If you guys haven’t, go through the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] (click it lazy vermin) thread, and like some of that shit. Real funny things there.

Re: Reputation
Sorry for spamming, but though the voting is anonymous, can we still be informed when someone likes our post? Just not be told who? Or even just be told who likes our post. Just not dislikes
Re: Reputation
Hahaha, I wish it told us both so we can get feedback on shitty/good posting. I'll look into that but currently there is no notification.Crobat wrote:Sorry for spamming, but though the voting is anonymous, can we still be informed when someone likes our post? I think what you are referring to is being "Thanked" by a user in which I can activate that but only topic starters will be able to thank users which will also notify them via PM (I think). Thanks aren't activated since this forum is not a "I need help - solution" kind of forum.

Re: Reputation
This is quite a good idea, now I can rate people's posts without them knowing it was me. Not only that, but people will see their reputation go down and think they should improve.
inb4 every single cobalt post gets downvoted to oblivion.

Re: Reputation
It's a good thing but there might be abuse with sth like Facebook, where everyone puts an opinion and puts a "-" to everyone who doesn't feel like him. I'm moderator on another forum, we wanted to introduce the same system and it didn't worked well so we deleted it. I just wanted you to be aware of that. But i guess Hero are intelligent enough to use it well (tho Cobalt is here :])

If there is some sort of abuse, I will limit it to mod+.
