YouTube HeroesHub Question
Hi everyone,
So I week ago I was thinking about playing PO to help Hero out. In the mix of playing Smogon OU and getting around 1600, I thought it was really boring. I don't mean to sound vain by saying this but once I hit the top of the ladder in OU/UU, there isn't much of a reason to do it again.
So I decided to focus my efforts on the forum and the YouTube channel Hero has. Last week, Friday the 13th of June, I recorded a chill session that was about 4 hours long. It turned out to be a blast towards the last 2 hours, however something went wrong with the audio files and only my voice can be heard the whole time. Before that, I recorded with Alan and the recording turned out fine and both of our voices can be heard. It's about an hour or so long.
I was debating putting that up but we didn't really go in depth with anything. Just me asking questions about NU and laughing at people's plays.
TL;DR
I have a question:
I was thinking about playing a Pokemon Hack and putting it on HeroesHub. Would that be something people are interested in? If so, which one should I play and should I do a Nuzlocke?
What got me interested in this was seeing this rom called Pokemon Glazed using the mascot, Mew, which is my favorite Pokemon. I was thinking about playing it.
Then again, I know there are a TON of Let's Plays on YouTube.
Someone on the Skype convo also told me I should do something like BOTW or Road to the Top...
Personally I wouldn't want to ladder and get involved with PO's community again...
But if people just like it for the Skype conversations... Idk.
Reply and let me know. I think this could be fun and would kind of lift the channel.
Cheers!

Re: YouTube HeroesHub Question
So far from what Sebby, Night and now Nuub have said I should be doing PO Live's...
I just can't do them since I go completely quiet. What would happen on Skype calls is I would either mute everyone or I wouldn't do them at all and watch others. If people are talking to me I generally get distracted and lose my thought process. Before I left PO, I made a channel called "The Forbidden Lance" where nobody can spectate and I would battle competatively like I was taking an exam. There would be no ghosting/cheating for either players and I wouldn't have players stealing my strong team. Keep in mind that I also had other alts like Clare or x where I would generally dick around with teams.
What I can do is watch other battles and do somewhat of a Skype convo with others. I think that might be best.
Thoughts?

Re: YouTube HeroesHub Question
i posted smth like that ~1 month ago but nothing happened because it turns out that im also really busy with my YT account, but i would also do po/pb/ps lives with you guys as i allready said, i also have no problem with recording and editing the video, you guys just have to hit me up (or i hit u up) with a nice team/teamidea and then we record smth. And again, my problem is that english isnt my 1st language, but everyone else says my english is fine. also im not playing much PO because the lower tiers suck and im practicing to make a road to top 10 or smth in ru/nu there (i also plan to do some english episodes with u guys :*)
so yea, just hit me up on skype, im almost always in a mood to make a vid :]

Re: YouTube HeroesHub Question
*UPDATE*
I have been and will be uploading PO Live's daily. I think it will maintain the consistency of the channel.
I am also debating making a road to the Top 10 in UU. This will consist of me creating teams in UU and putting every match up as a way to demonstrate self improvement for those who aspire to be a better player.
I'm debating doing this because of team stealing. I can't stop people from taking my teams but I'll assure that I will think less of you if you try to use the team to hit the top of the ladder. The point of these videos is to understand the mindset of a evolving player, not copy and paste to retain the same success.
If I enjoy it and it turns out successful, I might make a Top 10 OU afterwards? We shall see...

Re: YouTube HeroesHub Question
yo great videos ari, but i found it pretty annoying when u opened f.e. the hero forums on the recording screen and it gets pretty boring without music
i also think 2-3 people are enough for a po live, its more fun with more and everyone wants to be in it but its really hard to listen to all of u guys talking into each other and saying other stuff.
also, why are there now so many videos? :<
there are now 4 videos in 4 days, before that we had no vid for a month, i would say 2-3 if u want 4 uploads per week and not more, because it takes much time to record a ~30min po live (+ editing + rendering etc ~2hours) :/
i think its better to not make that many videos, or at least dont upload it every other day, we need some videos in our back that we can upload 1-2 weeks after we recorded it if our crew doesnt have time for a week to make new vids :<
new video idea: something like a meta talk where 3-4 people talk about the current meta f.e. how unbalanced po nu is atm or the good/bad things about po/ps etc, would be like a podcast but with pokemon stuff, i dont find this kinds of things except the verlililililsify "garchomp counters mega kangaskhan" things :[
PS: I love your thumbnails ari *-*

I could see a top 10 being cool to do but what we could also do is have hero share an alt and then have a different person ladder each episode and eventually try and reach the top 10 that way. Just throwing out an idea that popped up in my head
